The RBS Breakfast Club held its latest meeting at our regular location, Dome Cafe in Waikiki. Although the turnout was smaller than usual due to various reasons such as illness, work commitments, overseas holidays, or caring for family members, we still enjoyed a lovely breakfast and great conversation.
We decided to put aside our normal program and take the opportunity to chat and catch up with each other. Kristy from What A Stitch Up shared fascinating stories about life in the Navy and working on Garden Island. Robyn from Celebrant in Style shared stories of serendipity, bumping into people she knows in obscure places. Amanda from Bra Town and West Coast Swimwear talked about the renovation work being done at her new store. Peter from Match Financial Solutions discussed the current housing market, with insights on it being a great time to be a seller, but not so much if you’re trying to buy. Frank from Frankli Better Service spoke about regional towns trying to incentivise people to relocate to their towns.
It may have been a smaller group than usual, but it was great for sharing stories and having a group conversation. Although Karen from Duxbury Accounting and Maria from Parnita’s Yoga were scheduled to speak, we decided to hold all of that over until next time. We also planned to play “Two Truths and a Lie”, but we decided to hold off until the next meeting.
The RBS Breakfast Club is a fantastic opportunity for local business owners to come together to share stories, and ideas, and support one another in achieving our goals. If you’re a local business owner serious about growing your business, come along and experience RBS for yourself. RSVP today and join us at our next meeting to learn from our guest speakers and connect with other like-minded entrepreneurs in the community.
We look forward to seeing you there!
