Good morning, Rockingham! The RBS Breakfast Club met again today for another inspiring session of networking, sharing knowledge, and growing our businesses. If you missed it, don’t worry – we’ve got you covered with this recap of the highlights. And if you want to join us for the next meeting, don’t forget to contact us through our website or social media to reserve your spot.

First things first, we want to remind all the local businesses connected to tourism and hospitality that the Rockingham Tourism Association Inc AGM is coming up. It’s a great opportunity to connect with other businesses and learn about new developments in the industry. Make sure to mark your calendar and attend this important event.

Now, let’s talk about our special guest today. Sarah from Signing Australia spoke about the power of partnerships and how it has helped her business grow. She shared insights into the different elements of her business, from hand-painted signwriting to creating and maintaining signs for large national or multinational chains. It’s always inspiring to hear from local businesses that have succeeded through hard work and collaboration.

Peter Famlonga from Match Financial Services also had an important message to share. He spoke about the growing trend of customer service being moved online and how it’s becoming increasingly difficult to speak to a real person. We all agreed that providing excellent customer service is crucial and that the personal touch can make all the difference. Let’s remember to prioritize our customers and provide the best service possible.

Speaking of growing our businesses, there was a great discussion today about the importance of using referrals to expand our networks. However, we also agreed that there is a right way and a wrong way to do it. It’s important to build relationships naturally and avoid being too pushy or sales-y. Let’s keep in mind that referrals should be a win-win situation for both parties.

Lastly, we want to make sure you don’t miss out on any other important events happening in the Rockingham business community. We heard some rumours that the Rockingham Chamber of Commerce (RKCC) was holding an event at the same time as our scheduled meetings, but after investigating, we discovered that it was not the case. So, we highly recommend attending their event as well and expanding your network even further. You can keep up to date with RKCC events on their website.

That’s it for today’s recap, but we hope to see you at our next meeting in two weeks. Don’t forget to reserve your spot by contacting us through our website or social media. Until then, keep networking, keep growing, and keep supporting local businesses in Rockingham.
